2020 Star Nursery 150
The 2020 Star Nursery 150 was the first Stock car racing, stock car race of the 2020 ARCA Menards Series West season and the third iteration of the Star Nursery 150, event. The race was held on Thursday, February 20, 2020, in North Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring, a low-banked permanent racetrack. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. At race's end, Sam Mayer of GMS Racing would dominate the race to win his first and to date, final career ARCA Menards Series West win and his first and only win of the season. To fill out the podium, Jesse Love of Bill McAnally Racing and Blaine Perkins of Sunrise Ford Racing would finish second and third, respectively. Sam Mayer
Sam A. Mayer (born June 26, 2003) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports, a team in which he is also a development driver for through their Drivers Edge Development program. Mayer is the 2019 and 2020 East Series champion. He drove for GMS Racing (the other Drivers Edge Development team) both of those years in their No. 21 car and also won the inaugural championship of the ARCA Menards Series Sioux Chief Showdown in 2020. Trevor Huddleston (born May 31, 1996) is an American stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 50 Ford for his family-owned team High Point Racing. Racing career Huddleston started his career in bandolero racing in 2008. After racing in the Sportsman class at Irwindale Speedway in 2011, Huddleston raced late models at Madera Speedway in 2014. Throughout his career, he has raced for High Point Racing, which his father owns. The following year, Huddleston claimed his first Irwindale track championship, winning five late model races. Tucson Speedway is a paved oval racetrack located at the Pima County Fairgrounds, off Interstate 10 just south of Tucson, Arizona. It is one of only three paved ovals in the state of Arizona (the others are Phoenix Raceway and Havasu 95 Speedway).
