2020 Samoa National League
The 2020 Samoa National League is the 30th edition of the Samoa National League, the top association football league of Samoa organised by the Football Federation Samoa. This season began on 18 August 2020. Lupe o le Soaga are the defending champions. The winner of the first round will qualify for the 2021 OFC Champions League, while the winner of the top eight round will qualify for the 2022 OFC Champions League. The league was won by Lupe o le Soaga. Many games take place at the 3,500-capacity National Soccer Stadium, Apia. Teams A total of 12 teams from the island of Upolu. Moata'a is a Samoan football club based in Apia. It plays in the Samoa National League. History The first recorded appearance of Moata'a in the Samoan football league system was when they were promoted to the Premier division at the end of the 1998 season. Following their promotion the previous year, they then won the southern qualifying group for the Championship of Champions in 1999 and then went unbeaten through the final tournament winning all six games played and finishing ahead of Goldstar Sogi in second place and Kiwi in third to win what is to date, their only national championship.Samoa – 1999

Tuanaimato
Tuanaimato is a geographical area near Apia, Samoa. It is the site of the one hundred acre Faleata Sporting Complex which houses, among other facilities, a 12,000 seater soccer stadium (home of Tuanaimato Breeze, a Samoan soccer team), a baseball stadium, hockey fields and an 'aquatic centre' (for swimming, diving, synchronised swimming and water polo). Vaivase-Tai won four of the first five national championships, with only Alafua FC, Alafua winning a championship outright prior to 1984 Samoa National League, 1984. They won further championships in 1998 Samoa National League, 1998 and 2006 Samoa National League, 2006. They were also runners up in 1985 Samoa National League, 1985.

Vaipuna SC is an association football club from Apia, Samoa, currently competing in the Samoa National League. History The club was founded in 1975. In 2020, Vaipuna SC finished second in the regional Upolu Senior League. That season, Vaipuna player John Michael Tumua was the co-top scorer in the league.
