The 2020 Maldivian FA Charity Shield, (commonly known as the 2020 Milo Charity Shield due to sponsorship reasons) is the 11th Maldivian FA Charity Shield, an annual Maldivian association football, football match played between the winners of the previous season's Dhivehi Premier League and Maldives FA Cup, FA Cup. The game was played between Maziya S&RC, Maziya, champions of the 2020–21 Dhivehi Premier League, and runner-up Club Eagles, Eagles, as the 2020 Maldives FA Cup was cancelled and declared null and void due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the COVID-19 pandemic in the Maldives, Maldives. This was the sixth appearance of Maziya in the FA Charity Shield, and debut appearance for Club Eagles. The 2015 Maldivian FA Charity Shield, (commonly known as the 2015 Milo Charity Shield due to sponsorship reasons) was the 7th Maldivian FA Charity Shield, an annual Maldivian association football, football match played between the winners of the previous season's Dhivehi League and Maldives FA Cup, FA Cup. The game was played between New Radiant S.C., New Radiant, champions of the 2014 Dhivehi League, and Maziya S&RC, Maziya, champions of 2014 Maldives FA Cup. Maziya began the game more strongly and took the lead when Pablo Rodríguez (Spanish footballer, born 1985), Pablo Rodríguez scored in the 34th minute. They scored their second of the match, as substitute Ahmed Nashid finished off a counter-attacking move. Ibrahim Waheed Hassan (born 15 November 1995) is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Maziya S&RC. Career Waheed played for New Radiant, before joining TC Sports in 2017. International Waheed was first called up for Maldives national football team in March 2017 for 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification match against Palestine at home, but was on bench as an unused substitute. Hussain Nihan (born 6 July 1992), known as Niheart, is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Maziya. Career Nihan started his career as a 19 year old teenager at Club Eagles in 2012. He joined Victory Sports Club in the year 2013 and went on to play for them until signing for Club Valencia in 2015. Nihan played a vital role in Valencia's 2016 Maldives FA Cup win, helping them to lift the FA Cup trophy after 12 years.
