The 2020 National League 2, also known as the 2020 MPT Myanmar National League 2, is the 8th season of the MNL-2, the second division league for association football clubs since its founding in 2012. 3 months after being temporarily cancelled, the league itself was suspended. Chinland and Junior Lions both promoted to the 2021 Myanmar National League. However, in the 2022 season, Myawady took Junior Lions' place. The 1st transfer window is from 9 November 2019 to 10 January 2020 . The 2nd mid season transfer window is from 6 April 2020 to 7 May 2020. MNL-2
The MNL-2 is the second-tier football league of Myanmar. The official name is MNL-2 League. The inaugural season began in 2013. History The MNL-2 was founded in 2013 as part of MFF's effort to extend competitiveness into the nation's football system. The league is played in a league cup format. After two rounds of competition, the top two teams compete each other for the final. The two finalists are promoted to the MNL. The top four finishers from the league also qualify for the MFF Cup. However, this rule does not apply to the two guest teams which are taking part on experimental purposes. For the inaugural season in 2013, nine teams participated. Among them, Best United and Horizon FC were transformed from former Futsal clubs. Mawyawadi FC and Chin United were relegated from the MNL at the end of the 2012 season while Myawady FC were promoted from the Amateur League. Pong Gan FC is a new club, founded in 2014. Michael Tetteh
Michael Osakonor Tetteh (born 16 January 1989) is a former Ghanaian footballer. Playing career Youth and college Tetteh spent his youth career with Right to Dream Academy for six years and the Santa Barbara Soccer Club for three years before playing college soccer at UC Santa Barbara for the Gauchos. He was named Second Team All-Big West and Second Team Far West All-Region in 2009. Tetteh played in 59 games in his three years at UC Santa Barbara and scored 6 goals with 8 assists. Soe Myat Min
U Soe Myat Min ( my, စိုးမြတ်မင်း, ; born 19 May 1982) is a former Burmese footballer. He played for the Myanmar national team and spent the majority of his club career at Kanbawza. Making his debut for the national team since 1998, he was made captain for the 2002 Tiger Cup. Soe Myat Min also played a key role for Myanmar at the Tiger Cup, helping them qualify for the semi-finals. He himself finished the tournament as joint second top scorer of the tournament with six goals and was included in the tournament's best XI. He also helped Myanmar win their fourth Merdeka Cup Championship in 2006 and was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Chin State
Chin State (, ) is a state in western Myanmar. Lashio
Lashio ( ; Shan: ) is the largest town in northern Shan State, Myanmar, about north-east of Mandalay. It is situated on a low mountain spur overlooking the valley of the Yaw River. Loi Leng, the highest mountain of the Shan Hills, is located to the south-east of Lashio.
