2020 Ligier European Series
The 2020 Ligier European Series was the first season of the Ligier European Series. The five-event season began at Circuit Paul Ricard on 18 July and finished at Algarve International Circuit on 31 October. Calendar The original calendar was revealed on September 20, 2019, featuring a five round calendar with Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as its opening venue on 3–4 April. 2020 European Le Mans Series
The 2020 European Le Mans Series was the seventeenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Circuit Paul Ricard on 19 July and finished at Algarve International Circuit on 1 November. The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the LMGTE class. This season marked as the debut for the new ACO Generation II LMP3 cars. Calendar The revised calendar for the 2020 season was announced on 3 April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was shortened and the 4 Hours of Silverstone was removed from the calendar as a date could not be found. Autodromo Nazionale Monza
The Monza Circuit ( Italian: ; ) is a race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. Built in 1922, it was the world's third purpose-built motor racing circuit after Brooklands and Indianapolis and the oldest in mainland Europe. The circuit's biggest event is the Italian Grand Prix. With the exception of the 1980 running when the track was closed while undergoing refurbishment, the race has been hosted there since 1949. Sébastien Baud
Sébastien Baud (born 6 July 2000) is a French racing driver. He is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship, driving in the LMGT3 class for TF Sport. Career Baud raced in karting during his youth, notably competing in the French national championship in 2016. Having driven in the French Mitjet 2.0 L series in 2017 with GPC Motorsports, Baud entered both the French and European championships the following year. With ten wins and a total of 18 podiums he managed to win the former in his debut year. He progressed into the Porsche Carrera Cup France for 2019, though Baud only competed in the last three events as he was combining this with a venture into rallying. Cool Racing
CLX Motorsport, formerly known as Cool Racing, is a French-based Swiss sports car racing team which currently competes in the European Le Mans Series, fielding entries in the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, as well as the Le Mans Cup. Founded in 2017 by Patrick Barbier and Alexandre Coigny, owner of Cool Aviation, the team initially partnered with Racing Spirit of Léman to run their operations. At the end of 2020, a restructuring occurred, during which Nicolas Lapierre became the team principal and the outfit was rebranded to Cool Racing / CLX Motorsport; the C and L standing for Coigny and Lapierre respectively. Viktor Viktorovich Shaytar ( rus, Ви́ктор Ви́кторович Шайта́р, p=ˈvʲiktər ˈvʲiktərəvʲɪtɕ ʂəjˈtar; born 13 February 1983) is a Russian racing driver. He is a current member of the SMP Racing driver programme. The Ligier JS2 R is a GT racing car manufactured by French automaker Ligier Automotive, Ligier. Designed solely for track use, the car is an homage to the original Ligier JS2 introduced in 1972. Federico Leo (born August 27, 1988, in Varese) is an Italian racing driver. Career Formula Junior Leo began his single–seater career in late 2005 in the Italian Formula Junior 1600 Winter series, scoring nine points to finish 13th in the standings.
