The 2020 Cary Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the 6th edition of the tournament which was part of the 2020 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a type of surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. The ball tends to bounce high and players are able to apply many types of spin during play. Michael Mmoh
Michael Mmoh ( ; born January 10, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. Mmoh has a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 81 achieved on September 11, 2023 and a doubles ranking of No. 265 achieved on April 12, 2021. He won the USTA junior national championship in 2016. Personal life Born in Saudi Arabia, where he lived until the age of 13, Mmoh has both Irish and Nigerian ancestry. Michael's father Tony Mmoh was also a professional tennis player who represented Nigeria and reached a career-high ranking of No.105. His mother was born in Ireland and is also an Australian citizen. Nathaniel Lammons (born August 12, 1993) is an American professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. He has a career-high ATP ranking of world No. 17 in doubles, achieved on 27 January 2025. He has won 10 ATP doubles titles. Luke Bambridge (born 21 January 1995) is a British former tennis player. A doubles specialist, he reached a career-high Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world No. 41 doubles ranking in May 2019. Aleksandr Nedovyesov
Aleksandr Nedovyesov (; ; formerly known as Oleksandr Nedovyesov and Alexander Nedovesov; born 15 February 1987), is a Ukrainian-Kazakhstani professional tennis player.
