2019–20 Qarabağ FK Season
The Qarabağ 2019–20 season was Qarabağ's 27th Azerbaijan Premier League season, of which they were defending champions, and was their twelfth season under manager Gurban Gurbanov. Qarabağ were crowned Champions for the 7th season in a row when the season was curtailed on 19 June, whilst they had reached the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup when it was ended. In Europe, Qarabağ were knocked out of the Champions League by APOEL in the Third qualifying round, dropping into the Europa League where they finished 3rd in a group with Sevilla, APOEL and Dudelange. Qarabağ Futbol Klubu, commonly known as Qarabağ () is an Azerbaijani professional football club, based in Baku, that competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. The club originates from Aghdam but has not played in its hometown since 1993 due to the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The club is now based in the capital city of Baku. Qarabağ plays its matches at the Azersun Arena and Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, which also serves as the venue for Azerbaijan national team matches. Formed in 1987, Qarabağ were founding members of the Azerbaijan Premier League in 1992. One season later, they won their first league championship, becoming the first non-Baku-based club to win the Premier League title. Ailton Ferreira Silva (born 16 March 1995), commonly known as Ailton, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left back. Career Fluminense and loans Having started his career with Brazilian side Fluminense, Ailton moved to Azerbaijan Premier League side Neftchi Baku on a season-long loan deal in June 2015,. The following season, Ailton moved to Portuguese Primeira Liga side Estoril on a season-long loan deal. VfB Stuttgart and loans In July 2017, Ailton joined VfB Stuttgart and agreed to a four-year-contract. The transfer fee paid to Estoril was reported as close to €1 million. China League One
The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. ''Jia A'' was rebranded as CSL and ''Jia B'' was rebranded as the current Jia League in 2004. Below the Jia League is the Yi League, following the Chinese Heavenly Stems naming convention of numbers. Daniel 'Dani' Quintana Sosa (born 8 March 1987) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Club career Born in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Quintana only played lower league football in his country, representing Ontinyent CF, UD Alzira, Racing de Ferrol, CD Olímpic de Xàtiva and Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the Segunda División B. He appeared for UD Puçol, Valencia CF Mestalla and Huracán Valencia CF in Tercera División.
