2019–20 Brescia Calcio Season
The 2019–20 season was the 110th season in existence of Brescia Calcio. They returned to Serie A for the first time since 2010–11. On 18 August, Brescia were eliminated in the third round of the Coppa Italia by Perugia. Brescia Calcio
Brescia Calcio, commonly referred to as Brescia (), is an Italian football club based in Brescia, Lombardy. The team currently plays in Serie B, the second tier of Italian football, but will play in Serie C in 2025–26 due to financial controversies. The club holds the record for total number of seasons (66) and consecutive seasons (18, from 1947–48 to 1964–65) in Serie B, which they have won four times. Their best finish in Serie A came in the 2000–01 season when they placed eighth. Sandro Tonali (; born 8 May 2000) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Newcastle United and the Italy national team. Alessandro Semprini (born 24 February 1998) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Serie D club Ciliverghe Mazzano. Daniele Gastaldello (; born 25 June 1983) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Gastaldello was bought by Juventus in 2002 from Serie C2 side Calcio Padova; in that season, he played in the Primavera squad.
