2019–20 BCL Americas
The 2019–20 Basketball Champions League Americas season was the 13th edition of the top-tier level professional club basketball competition in the Americas and first of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) since launched by FIBA in September 2019. The competition began on 28 October 2019, with the group phase, and would have been concluded in April 2020. On 14 March 2020, FIBA suspended all of its competitions until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition resumed on 27 October 2020 with an altered format, including a single-match final in Montevideo, Uruguay, on 30 October 2020. San Lorenzo won the last FIBA Americas League tournament. They were eliminated in the semifinals by eventual winners Quimsa, who went onto beat Flamengo 92–86 in the final to be crowned as the inaugural champions of the Basketball Champions League Americas. 2019 FIBA Americas League
The 2019 FIBA Americas League was the 12th edition of the top-tier level intercontinental professional club basketball competition in the Americas and last for the FIBA Americas League. Sixteen teams from across the Americas competed over three rounds, to determine the champion. San Lorenzo won its second continental title, giving them the right to play in the 2020 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. 2018–19 NBB Season
The 2018–19 Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) season is the 11th season of this top-tier level Brazilian professional basketball league. This tournament is organized by the Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB). The NBB will also qualify teams for international tournaments such as the FIBA South American League (LSB) and FIBA Americas League. In this season, fourteen teams will play during the regular season. At the end of the season's home and away games, the top four league teams qualify for the quarterfinal playoffs, while the teams finishing in the 5th through 12th places will participate in playoffs to determine the other four teams in the quarterfinals. The quarterfinals are played in a best out of five series since the NBB 2015–16 season. For this season, the last regular season placed team is relegated to the 2020 Liga Ouro, the NBB's second tier division. The FIBA Americas League ( Portuguese: ''FIBA Liga das Américas'', Spanish: ''FIBA Liga de las Américas''), officially abbreviated as the LDA, was the premier intercontinental basketball club competition played annually by clubs of the entire Americas. Organized by FIBA Americas, the competition was replaced by the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) in September 2019. The inaugural season started on 4 December 2007. The Fuerza Regia de Monterrey (''Monterrey Royal Force'' in English) is a Mexican professional basketball team based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico playing in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). Mogi das Cruzes Basquete, is a Brazilian professional basketball team that is based in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo. The club's full name is Associação Desportiva Mogi das Cruzes. The club competes in the top-tier level national basketball league in Brazil, the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba basketball section is part of the homonymous sports club based in Córdoba, Argentina.
