2019–2021 Regionalliga Bayern
The 2019–21 Regionalliga Bayern is the eighth season of the Regionalliga Bayern. The season was originally scheduled as the 2019–20 season. After the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) cancelled the 2020–21 season, which would have been the ninth for this Regionalliga, and enrolled Türkgücü München for the 2020–21 3. Liga, the ongoing season had to resume without Türkgücü in September 2020 and conclude in mid-2021. Originally, 18 teams from Bavaria competed in the eighth season of the Regionalliga Bayern. Türkgücü München and TSV Rain am Lech were promoted from the 2018–19 Bayernliga Süd and TSV Aubstadt was promoted from the 2018–19 Bayernliga Nord. After Türkgücü München was promoted to the 3. Liga, 17 teams continued competing. The season was abandoned on 18 May 2021. Regionalliga Bayern
The Regionalliga Bayern () is the highest association football league in the state of Bavaria () and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of five Regionalligas in German football, the fourth tier of the German football league system, below the 3. Liga. TSV Buchbach
TSV Buchbach is a German association football club from the village of Buchbach, Bavaria. The team is part of a larger sports club that also has departments for curling, gymnastics, skiing, and tennis. The footbal club formerly held the German record for the longest undefeated streak, 75 matches from 19 August 1995 to 23 May 1998. History TSV was founded in 1913 as a gymnastics club. Football was soon introduced to the club by students who brought the game back from Munich. A football department was established within the association on 11 January 1930. Following World War II, Buchbach played in local A-Class competition until slipping to B-Class play in 1960, where they remained until returning to the A-class in 1980. In the mid-1990s, with solid sponsorship in place, they began their record-making unbeaten run. 2020–21 DFB-Pokal
The 2020–21 DFB-Pokal was the 78th season of the annual German Association football, football cup competition. Sixty-four teams participated in the competition, including all teams from the previous year's Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga. SV Schalding-Heining is a German association football club from the suburb of Schalding-Heining in the city of Passau, Bavaria. The club was the first winner of the Bavarian Cup, in 1998. TSV 1860 Rosenheim is a German association sport club from the town of Rosenheim, Bavaria. The origins of the club are in the establishment of the gymnastics club and community fire brigade ''Freiwillige Turnerfeuerwehr Rosenheim'' on 20 October 1860. FC Memmingen is a German association football club based in Memmingen, Bavaria. History The team was formed on 30 May 1907 as the football department of the gymnastics club Memminger Turnvereins 1859 and became independent in the fall of that year. FV Illertissen is a German association football club from the town of Illertissen, Bavaria and was established in 1921. Despite its location in Bavaria the club had never played in the league system of its home state but instead preferred to play in neighbouring Baden-Württemberg. SV Heimstetten is a German association football club based in Kirchheim in the district of Munich, Bavaria. History The club was founded in 1967 and in addition to a football team has departments for basketball, gymnastics, Judo, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball.
