2019 World Taekwondo Championships
The 2019 World Taekwondo Championships was the 24th edition of the World Taekwondo Championships and was held at the Manchester Arena, in Manchester, Great Britain from 15 to 19 May 2019. This was the first time the UK has held the event. Iordanis Konstantinidis (taekwondo)
Iordanis Konstantinidis (born 10 June 1998) is a German taekwondo athlete. He is the 2019 world bronze medallist in the 63 kg weight category. Career Junior Iordanis Konstantinidis began practicing taekwondo at the age of seven after discovering the sport through martial arts films. He began training in Dachau alongside fellow national team member Ela Aydin and first represented the German national team in a continental competition at the 2013 European Junior Championships in Porto. In the years following, Konstantinidis took part in international G-ranked competitions as well as the 2014 World Juniors Taekwondo Championships and the 2015 European U21 Championships. Milad Beigi Harchegani (, ; born 1 March 1991 in Booshehr) is an Iranian-born naturalized Azerbaijani taekwondo practitioner who won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics.Milad Beigi

Harchegani is of Qashqai people, Qashqai ancestry. In February 2015, Beigi won the −80  kg gold medal in 26th Fajr Cup for Iran's B team. He was considered among Iran's prospects in 2015 World Taekwondo Championships, but it was declared that he had been replaced due to "injury" despite allegations that he has left threatening to acquire citizenship in another country. He was named the Male Most Valuable Player at the 2015 World Cup Team Championships. He won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics after beating Piotr Pazinsky in the bronze medal match.

Ahmad Abughaush (Arabic: أحمد أبو غوش; born 1 February 1996) is a Jordanian taekwondo athlete. He won the gold medal in the 68 kg category at the 2016 Olympics. This was Jordan's first Olympic medal in any sport, excluding a bronze in 1988 when taekwondo was a demonstration sport. Biography Abughaush was born in Amman, Jordan. His father is of Palestinian descent, his grandparents having been relocated from the town of Abu Ghosh to Jordan decades earlier. Abughaush started Taekwondo at a local training center in Amman, his skills qualified him for inclusion in the national team.
