2019 World Shotgun Championships
The 2019 World Shotgun Championships were held from 30 June to 11 July 2019 in Lonato del Garda, Italy. As in all odd-numbered years, separate ISSF World Shooting Championships are held for ISSF Olympic trap, trap, ISSF Double trap, double trap and ISSF Olympic skeet, skeet events. International Shooting Sport Federation
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is the governing body of Shooting at the Summer Olympics, Olympic shooting events. It also regulates several ISSF shooting events, non-Olympic shooting sport events. The Federation's activities include regulation of the sport, managing Olympic qualification events and quota places, and organisation of tournaments like the ISSF World Cup, World Cup and ISSF World Shooting Championships, World Championships. Aaron Heading (born 21 May 1987) is a clay-pigeon shooter, specialising in the Trap discipline. He represents England and Great Britain. In 2010 Heading earned selection for the England shooting team for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi from 3–14 October 2010. He won Bronze when competing in the men's trap pairs, with partner David Kirk, and Gold in the singles event. In 2014 he was selected for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where he won the Silver meal in Men's Trap. He qualified to represent Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He finished 23rd.
