2019 World Rugby Under 20 Championship
The 2019 World Rugby Under 20 Championship was the twelfth edition of the premier age-grade competition for rugby. The tournament was held in Argentina for the second time, having been hosted there in 2010. Defending champions France won the under 20 title again in 2019, defeating Australia in a closely fought final by 24–23 at the Racecourse Stadium in Rosario. The city of Santa Fe also hosted matches in the 2019 championship. Josh Hodge
Josh Hodge (born 23 May 2000) is an English professional rugby union player who plays as a full-back or wing for Premiership Rugby club Exeter Chiefs. Biography Hodge was raised in South Cumbria where he represented Sedbergh School in the starting XV to win the 2017 Daily Mail Trophy and was Player of the Tournament in the Sedbergh Super 10s competition. He played for the England U18 team during their Six Nations Festival as well as the Falcons' junior academy and was promoted to Newcastle Falcons senior academy squad in the summer of 2018. Hodge made his debut for Newcastle during the 2019–20 RFU Championship, scoring a try against Yorkshire Carnegie to remain leaders in the league. 2008 IRB Junior World Championship
The 2008 IRB Junior World Championship was the first annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. All players who were twenty years of age or under on 1 January 2008 were eligible for selection. This competition replaced the now defunct Under 19 Rugby World Championship and Under 21 Rugby World Championship. The event, organised by rugby's governing body, the International Rugby Board (IRB), was contested by sixteen men's under-20 national teams. The tournament was held in June and hosted by Wales, at four separate venues, and won by New Zealand national under-20 rugby union team, New Zealand. Cai Evans (born 23 June 1999) is a Welsh professional rugby union player who plays as a fly-half for United Rugby Championship club Dragons and the Wales national team. Club career Evans began his career with local club Cowbridge RFC, and was a member of the Cardiff Blues academy up to Under-16 level. Evans moved to the Ospreys after missing out on selection for Wales Under-16. Ryan Conbeer (born 5 February 1999) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays for the Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship as a winger. He had previously played for the Scarlets and Llanelli RFC Professional career Conbeer first played for Tenby RFC, before moving to Narberth RFC at U12 level. While with Narberth, Conbeer was selected for Wales U16. Conbeer played for Scarlets U16, and joined the academy. He progressed into the Wales U18 side, and joined them on a tour to South Africa.
