The 2019 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held in Zagreb, Croatia from 4 to 10 March 2019. ISU Figure Skating Championships
The International Skating Union organizes six annual Championships for figure skating. It is at the discretion of each member country which skaters, pairs or synchronized skating teams are sent to which championship. No skater in Single skating, men's single skating, Single skating, women's single skating, pair skating and ice dancing can compete at all four competitions in one season, but some skaters have competed at all four over the course of their careers. Camden Pulkinen
Camden Pulkinen (born March 25, 2000) is an American figure skater and he is the 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 2024, 2025 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 2025 U.S. bronze medalist. He competed at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics and is the first male figure skater to compete on behalf of Team USA in the men's singles event at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. Rhythm Dance
The rhythm dance (RD) is the first segment of an ice dance competition. The International Skating Union (ISU) renamed the short dance to the "rhythm dance" in June 2018, prior to the 2018–2019 season. It became part of international competitions in July 2018. The free dance (FD) is a segment of an ice dance competition, the second contested. It follows the rhythm dance (RD). The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior Single skating, singles and Pair skating, pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014–2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters. Dmitrii Ialin
Dmitrii Mihailovich Ialin (, born 9 August 1998) is a Russian pair skater. With his former skating partner, Polina Kostiukovich, he is the 2018 World Junior and the 2018–19 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and the 2019 World Junior bronze medalist. He is also the 2017 JGP Croatia and the 2018 JGP Austria champion. Career Early years Ialin began learning to skate in 2002. He trained as a single skater until 2013 in Yekaterinburg. He later switched to pair skating and moved to Saint Petersburg. Ialin and Polina Kostiukovich began competing together in 2016. Polina Andreevna Kostiukovich (, born 7 March 2003) is a retired Russian pair skater.
