2019 Thailand Champions Cup
The 2019 Thailand Champions Cup was the 3rd Thailand Champions Cup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Thai League 1 and Thai FA Cup competitions. It was sponsored by Government Savings Bank (Omsin Bank), and known as the Omsin Thailand Champions Cup ( th, ออมสิน ไทยแลนด์แชมเปียนส์คัพ) for sponsorship purposes. The match was played at Royal Thai Army Stadium, Bangkok and contested by 2018 Thai League 1 champions Buriram United, and Chiangrai United as the champions of the 2018 Thai FA Cup. Thailand Champions Cup
The Thailand Champions Cup (continuing Kor Royal Cup, a different competition from the Thai Super Cup) is a single-game competition between the winners of previous Thai League 1 and Thai FA Cup, organised by the Football Association of Thailand. If the Thai League 1 champions also won the FA Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The first edition started in 2017 in order to replace the Kor Royal Cup. Modibo Maïga (born 3 September 1987) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Al-Jeel and the Mali national team. He has also played for Stade Malien, Raja Casablanca, Le Mans, Sochaux, West Ham United, Queens Park Rangers and Metz. Yotsapon Teangdar ( th, ยศพล เทียงดาห์; born 6 April 1992), simply known as Toey ( th, เต้ย), is a Thai professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Thai League 1 club Police Tero. Biography Yotsapon Teangdar is from Prasat district of Surin province. He attended secondary school at Prasat Wittayakarn School, where he won several national competitions with the school's football team. Suchao Nuchnum (born May 17, 1983) is a Thai professional footballer who plays as a midfielder of Kanchanaburi City of the Thai League 3. Stephan Maceda Palla (born 15 May 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Austrian Landesliga club ASK Voitsberg. Andrés José Túñez Arceo (; born 15 March 1987) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays for Thai club BG Pathum United F.C. as a central defender.
