The 2019 Russian Open was a badminton tournament which took place at Sport Hall Olympic in Vladivostok, Russia, from 16 to 21 July 2019 and had a total purse of $75,000. Tournament The 2019 Russian Open was the fourth Super 100 tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the Russian Open championships, which had been held since 1992. This tournament was organized by the National Badminton Federation of Russia and sanctioned by the BWF. Nhat Nguyen
Nhat Nguyen (; , ; born 16 June 2000) is an Irish badminton player. Born in Vietnam, Nguyen left the country for a new life in Dublin, Ireland along with his parents and older sister, when he was six years old. Then, he started playing badminton at the local club with his father. He was the gold medalist at the 2016 European U17 Championships in the boys' singles event, and also won the bronze medal in the doubles event partnered with Paul Reynolds. At the same year, he clinched the men's singles title at the Irish National Championships. Nguyen won his first senior international title at the Polish International in the men's doubles event with Reynolds, after that the men's singles title at the Welsh International. Soo Teck Zhi (born 4 August 1995) is a Malaysian badminton player. He participated at the Vietnam Open 2012, 2012 India Open Grand Prix Gold, 2012 Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold and the 2013 Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold. In 2013 he won the gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in the boys' singles event. Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo (born 15 June 1998) is an Indonesian professional badminton player. He was a World junior silver medalist in 2016 and Asian Championships bronze medalist in 2022. Ihsan Maulana Mustofa (born 18 November 1995) is an Indonesian badminton player who plays in singles event. He is from PB. Loh Kean Yew
Loh Kean Yew (; born 26 June 1997) is a Singaporean badminton player. He is the former men's singles world champion, winning the title at the 2021 BWF World Championships, becoming the first Singaporean to achieve this feat.
