2019 Orlando City B Season
The 2019 Orlando City B season was the club's third year of existence and their first returning from hiatus during the 2018 season. It was their first season as a founding member of USL League One, the third tier of the United States soccer pyramid, after moving from the second tier now rebranded as USL Championship in the restructuring. The team also moved from Orlando City Stadium where they spent the 2017 season, to Montverde Academy which already housed Orlando City's Development Academy. On October 3, 2018, Fernando De Argila was announced as head coach. He had previously been head coach and director of methodology at the Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy (S.I.M.A). Orlando City B (or OCB for short) is an American soccer club that began play in 2016 and currently plays in MLS Next Pro. Owned by Orlando City SC and based at the Orlando City training facility in Kissimmee, the club plays its home games at Osceola County Stadium. The club played in multiple leagues, beginning with the United Soccer League, the second tier of the US soccer pyramid in 2016 and 2017, before electing to forgo the 2018 season and join the newly formed third division, USL League One, in its inaugural 2019 season. Detroit City FC (DCFC) is an American professional soccer club based in Detroit, Michigan, that competes in the USL Championship. The club played in the National Premier Soccer League from 2012 to 2019 and the National Independent Soccer Association in 2020 and 2021. Wilfred Williams (born June 4, 1996) is a professional soccer player who plays as a defender. Born in Liberia, he has represented the United States at youth level. Career Williams began his college soccer career at the University of Memphis, before spending a year at Eastern Florida State College and a further two years at Oakland University. Weston FC is a soccer club in Weston, Florida competing in the USL League Two. They are also one of the largest soccer clubs in the country for youth soccer. The club was founded in 1998 as a youth soccer club.
