Seth Thibodeaux
Seth Thibodeaux (born 1980) is an American baseball coach and former catcher. He currently is assistant coach for the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. He played college baseball at LSU Eunice from 1999 to 2000 before transferring to William Carey, where he played for coach Bobby Halford from 2001 to 2002. He then served as the head coach of the Nicholls Colonels (2011–2021). Coaching career On August 1, 2007, Thibodeaux was named an assistant coach at Nicholls State. On August 18, 2010, Thibodeaux was promoted to head coach for the 2011 season. On June 3, 2021, Thibodeaux resigned as the head coach of Nicholls. Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is the college baseball team of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The Ragin' Cajuns baseball team competes in NCAA Division I in the Sun Belt Conference. They play their home games on campus at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park and were coached by head coach Tony Robichaux, until his death on July 3, 2019. Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field is a baseball stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is the home stadium of the Louisiana State University Tigers baseball team. The stadium section (and LSU's previous baseball stadium 200 yards to the north) were named for Simeon Alex Box, an LSU letterman (1942), Purple Heart and Distinguished Service Cross recipient, who was killed in North Africa during World War II. On May 17, 2013, prior to a game against Ole Miss, the field was named and dedicated in honor of former LSU head baseball coach and athletic director Skip Bertman. The LSU Tigers baseball team represents Louisiana State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference. It ranks seventh overall with 18 College World Series appearances and second all-time with six national championships (1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, and 2009). Bear Stadium
Bear Stadium is a baseball venue in Conway, Arkansas, United States. It is home to the Central Arkansas Bears college baseball team of the NCAA's Division I Southland Conference. Last rebuilt in 2009, the facility has a capacity of 1,000 spectators. History Renovations After the Bears' 2007 move to Division I, the UCA baseball facility was rebuilt to be appropriate to the new playing level. In the offseason between 2008 and 2009, the old facility was demolished and construction on the present one began. The newly constructed ballpark, Bear Stadium, featured 106 chairbacks (part of a 1,000-spectator grandstand), press box, wheelchair elevator, concourse, and backstop. Central Arkansas Bears Baseball
The Central Arkansas Bears baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway, Arkansas. The team is a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I, since the start of the 2022 season. The Bears, coached by Nick Harlan, play home games at Bear Stadium on the UCA campus. History In 2013, UCA went farther into the playoffs than any Southland conference team has been, coming within one game of winning the Starkville regional.
