2019 NPF Draft
The 2019 NPF College Draft was the 16th annual collegiate draft for the National Pro Fastpitch. It took place April 15, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee at Acme Feed & Seed, a downtown entertainment venue. It was available for internet viewing via NPFTV, the league's streaming platform. The Chicago Bandits selected Kelly Barnhill from Florida with the first overall pick in the draft. Softball
Softball is a Variations of baseball, variation of baseball, the difference being that it is played with a larger ball, on a smaller field, and with only underhand pitches (where the ball is released while the hand is primarily below the ball) permitted. Softball is played competitively at club levels, the college level, and the #Professional leagues, professional level. List Of All-NPF Players
The following is a list of National Pro Fastpitch players who have been selected for the All-NPF Team at least once in their careers. Each year's All-NPF Team recognizes players for excellence on the field during the season. Since 2006, the All-NPF Team has been selected by the league and announced during the awards banquet after the end of the regular season. In 2019, a player is named at each fielding position, four pitchers, a designated player, and five 'At-Large' selections. (Multiple players are selected if there is a tie in voting.) Taran Alvelo
Taran Mackenzie Alvelo (born June 14, 1996) is an American professional softball player for the USSSA Pride of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). She played college softball at Washington, where she led the Huskies to three consecutive Women's College World Series appearances from 2017 to 2019. The Arizona Wildcats softball team represents the University of Arizona in NCAA Division I Softball. Having claimed eight national championships (second only to UCLA Bruins softball, UCLA), the team is one of the most successful in the history of the sport. LSU Tigers Softball
The LSU Tigers softball team represents Louisiana State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and plays home games in Tiger Park. Amanda Sánchez
Amanda Sánchez is an American softball player of Mexican descent and member of the Mexico women's national softball team. She represented Team Mexico at the 2020 Summer Olympics. College career Sánchez began her collegiate career at Missouri. As a freshman in 2015 she posted a .347 batting average, and ranked second on the team in home runs (14), RBI (56), total bases (108), and extra base hits (20). Following the season she was named to the Freshman All-SEC team. During her sophomore year in 2016 she posted a .354 batting average, with 62 hits, six home runs, seven doubles, 42 RBI, and three stolen bases. Jordan Lee Taylor (born October 24, 1988) is an American, former collegiate All-American, 3-time professional All-Star right-handed softball pitcher originally from Santa Clarita, California. She played for the Michigan Wolverines softball team from 2008–2011 and Team USA. She was drafted #11 and played from 2011-18 in the National Pro Fastpitch where she is currently the career leader in saves. Sydney Joy Romero (born March 8, 1997) is a Mexican American professional softball player for the Talons of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) and current assistant coach for Oregon.
