2019 Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks Baseball Team
The 2019 Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks baseball team represented the University of Louisiana at Monroe in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Warhawks played their home games at Warhawk Field. They were under the direction of second year head coach Michael Federico. Preseason Sun Belt coaches poll On January 30, 2019, the Sun Belt released their preseason coaches poll with the Warhawks predicted to finish in sixth place in the West Division. Michael Federico
Michael Federico is an American baseball coach, and the former head baseball coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Federico attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi and played on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles baseball team. Federico served as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Memphis from 2005 to 2009, and at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2010 to 2017. Federico was named head baseball coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe on June 27, 2017. Bobcat Ballpark
Bobcat Ballpark is a baseball venue in San Marcos, Texas, on the campus of Texas State University. It is home of the Texas State Bobcats baseball team of the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. It currently holds 2,500 spectators. In 2008, the baseball and softball stadiums were renovated and expanded to its current design. In addition, four luxury suites for up to 12 people were added. The renovations made their debut on March 5, 2009, against the Texas Longhorns with a record setting 2,593 people. Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field is a baseball venue in Hammond, Louisiana, United States. It is home to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions baseball team of the NCAA's Division I Southland Conference. The facility has a capacity of 2,500 spectators. It is named after Pat Kenelly, the longest tenured baseball coach in program history. Kenelly also served as athletic director and both assistant and head football coach in his time at the university, 1948–1977. The diamond was dedicated to him on February 19, 2006.
