2019 Lingshui China Masters
The 2019 Lingshui China Masters was a badminton tournament which took place at Agile Stadium in China from 12 to 17 March 2019 and had a total purse of $75,000. Tournament The 2019 Lingshui China Masters was the first Super 100 tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the Lingshui China Masters championships, which had been held since 2001. This tournament was organized by the Chinese Badminton Association and sanctioned by the BWF. Venue This international tournament was held at Agile Stadium which located inside the Lingshui Culture and Sports Square in Lingshui, Hainan, China. Lingshui Li Autonomous County
Língshuǐ Li Autonomous County is an autonomous county in Hainan, China. It is one of the six autonomous counties of Hainan with a postal code of 572400, and in 1999 a population of 318,691, largely made up of the Li people. Notably the beautiful Niuling () mountain delimits the tropical area of the county. A well-known natural sight, part of the Chinese Riviera is ''Xiangshuiwan'' or Perfume bay (). BWF Tour Super 100
The BWF World Tour is a Grade 2 badminton tournament series, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It is a competition open to the top world ranked players in singles (men's and women's) and doubles (men's, women's and mixed). The competition was announced on 19 March 2017 and came into effect starting from 2018, replacing the BWF Super Series, which was held from 2007 to 2017. The BWF World Tour are divided into six levels, namely World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, and Super 300 in order (part of the HSBC World Tour). One other category of tournament, the BWF Tour Super 100 level, also offers ranking points. Xiaodong Sheng
Xiaodong Sheng (; born 19 January 1998) is a Chinese-born Canadian badminton player. At the age of 13, Sheng entered the Tianjin provincial team, and selected to join the Chinese national youth team in 2011. At the 2013 Chinese National Junior Championships, he clinched two titles, by winning the boys' singles and doubles event. After retiring from the national youth team, Sheng entered Kawasaki International Badminton Club trained by Li Mao. In his career, he won four international titles, namely Giraldilla International in 2018, Silicon Valley and India International Challenge in 2019, and Iran Fajr International in 2020. Lakshya Sen
Lakshya Sen (born 16 August 2001) is an Indian badminton player. Sen is a former world junior no. 1. He has won gold medals at the 2018 Asian Junior Championships in the boys' singles and at the Summer Youth Olympics in the mixed team event. He won the bronze medal at the 2021 World Championships and was runner-up at the 2022 All England Open. Sen was also a part of the Indian team which won the Thomas Cup 2022. Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin
Iskandar Zulkarnain bin Zainuddin (born 24 May 1991) is a Malaysian badminton player and coach. He represented Malaysia as the third singles in the 2018 Thomas Cup and helped Malaysia qualify for the quarter finals. Iskandar was appointed as part of the Irish badminton coaching staff in 2021. Sony Dwi Kuncoro (born 7 July 1984) is a badminton singles player from Indonesia. He was the 2004 Olympic bronze medalist, two-time World Championships medalist (silver–2007, bronze–2009) and three-time Asian Champion (2002, 2003, 2005). Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo (born 15 June 1998) is an Indonesian professional badminton player. He was a World junior silver medalist in 2016 and Asian Championships bronze medalist in 2022.
