The Lao League 1 ( lo, ລາວ ພຣີເມຍລີກ), known for sponsorship reasons as the Pepsi Lao League 1, is a football league representing the sport's highest level in Laos. The league is composed of seven clubs for the 2022 season. Format Over the course of a season, which runs from February to September, each team plays against the others three times in a triple round-robin. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. The 2019 Lao FF Cup is the second edition of the Lao FF Cup, the knockout football tournament in Laos. The tournament returns after last held in 2014. It is scheduled to start on 13 July 2019. 2020 AFC Cup
The 2020 AFC Cup was the 17th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The competition was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic after group stage matches on 11 March 2020, and was originally to restart on 23 September 2020.
