Dom Sportova
Dom sportova (), is a multi-purpose indoor sports arena located in Zagreb, Croatia. The venue was built in 1972 on Trešnjevka, in the western part of the city. It has 32,000 m2 of floorspace, and it features six halls. The seating capacity of the biggest two halls is 5,000 and 3,100. It is used for basketball, handball, volleyball, ice hockey, gymnastics, tennis, as well as concerts. It is the venue for the PBZ Zagreb Indoors men's tennis tournament. It also hosted the final tournament of the 1989 European Basketball Championship, in which the home team of Yugoslavia won the gold medal, the 2000 European Men's Handball Championship, the 2003 World Women's Handball Championship, the 2005 Women's European Volleyball Championship as well as the 2008 and 2013 European Figure Skating Championships. Takanori Nagase ( ja, 永瀬貴規; born 14 October 1993) is a Japanese judoka. Nagase's achievements include the Universiade in Kazan in 2013, the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2013 and 2014, the All Japan Championships, the IJF Masters in Rabat and the World Judo Championships in 2015. He is currently ranked No. 2 in the world (as of 5 May 2016). Nagase's favourite technique is uchi mata and is known for his newaza. He is the first and only Japanese judoka to become world champion in the -81 kg weight class. Nagase won the gold medal in the Men's 81 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Jorge Ivayr Rodrigues da Fonseca (born 30 October 1992) is a Santomean-born Portuguese judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 100 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the second round by Lukáš Krpálek. Shady El Nahas
Shady El Nahas (born March 27, 1998) is a Canadian judoka. Career When El Nahas was young, he immigrated to Canada from Egypt, and took up the sport of judo for self-defence against bullying at school. In November 2018, El Nahas won silver at the Osaka Grand Slam, and the following year he followed that up with a bronze at the 2019 Ekaterinburg Grand Slam. El Nahas also won gold at the 2019 Pan American Judo Championships in Lima, Peru and in 2020. In June 2021, El Nahas was named to Canada's 2020 Olympic team. Personal life El Nahas was born in Alexandria, Egypt and moved to Canada with his family at the age of 12. The family initially lived in Toronto though he moved to Montreal to join the national Canadian judo team where he trains with them today.
