The 2019 K League 1 was the 37th season of the top division of professional association football, football in South Korea since its establishment in 1983, and the seventh season of the K League 1. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors Football Club, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors were the defending champions. Nawaf Abdullah Ghayyath Shukrallah (; born 13 October 1976) is a Bahraini football referee who has been a full international referee for FIFA. In 2011, FIFA called him on duty at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup. He has also officiated at other tournaments, including the AFC Champions League, the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup, and 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Kim Jin-su (; born 13 June 1992) is a South Korean football (soccer), footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Full-back, left back for the K League 1 club FC Seoul and South Korea national football team, South Korea national team. Early life Kim was born in Jeonju. Club career On 13 January 2012, Albirex Niigata announced the signing of Kim Jin-su. On 19 February 2012, Kim made his professional debut against Vissel Kobe in a pre-season friendly match, which Albirex won 3–0. 2019 AFC Asian Cup Knockout Stage
The knockout stage of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup was the second and final stage of the competition, following the group stage. It began on 20 January with the round of 16 and ended on 1 February with the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Final, final match, held at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. A total of 16 teams (the top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams) advanced to the knockout stage to compete in a Single-elimination tournament, single-elimination style tournament. All times are local, Gulf Standard Time, GST (UTC+04:00, UTC+4). 2019 AFC Asian Cup Group C
Group C of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup took place from 7 to 16 January 2019. The group consists of South Korea national football team, South Korea, China national football team, China PR, Kyrgyzstan national football team, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines national football team, Philippines. The top two teams, South Korea and China PR, along with third-placed Kyrgyzstan (as one of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup#Ranking of third-placed teams, four best third-placed teams), advanced to the round of 16. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Jassim (; born 14 October 1987) is a Qatari football referee who has been a full international referee for FIFA since 2013. Career He was one of the referees for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea. Al-Jassim was appointed to be a Video Assistant Referee for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Al-Nahyan Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is also known as Al Wahda Stadium. It is currently used for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of Al-Wahda Club (Abu Dhabi), Al Wahda. The stadium holds 15,894 people and was built in 1995.
