FC Dallas
FC Dallas is an American professional soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The club competes as a member of the Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). The franchise began play in 1996 as a charter club of the league. The club was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn before adopting its current name in 2004. Since 2005, Dallas have played in the DFW area's northern suburbs at the 20,500-capacity soccer-specific Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas; home games in the club's early years were played at the Cotton Bowl. The team is owned by the Hunt Sports Group led by brothers Clark Hunt and Dan Hunt, who is the team's president. The Hunt family also owns the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs and part of the Chicago Bulls. Zdeněk Ondrášek (born 22 December 1988) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a forward for Dynamo České Budějovice and the Czech Republic national team. Club career Dynamo České Budějovice Ondrášek started his career in the South-Bohemian side České Budějovice in 2007, doing a short loan-spell at FC Zenit Čáslav in 2009. Upon returning to Dynamo, he delivered a decent season, becoming the top scorer for the club during the 2010–11 Czech First League. Dante Isiah Sealy (born April 17, 2003) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Major League Soccer club FC Dallas. Club career Sealy advanced through the FC Dallas academy, signing a professional contract February 26, 2019. The next day, he went on loan to FC Dallas's USL League One affiliate, North Texas SC, where he remained for the 2019 season. He returned to FC Dallas for the 2020 season, during which he made 11 appearances for the senior squad, scoring one goal. Charlotte 49ers Men's Soccer
The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As of the upcoming 2022 season, the team is a member of the NCAA Division I American Athletic Conference (The American). The team plays their home games at Transamerica Field in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2011, the team reached the championship of the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship, for the first time in program history. Callum Montgomery
Callum Montgomery (born May 14, 1997) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for Canadian Premier League side Cavalry FC. Career Amateur and college Montgomery grew up in Lantzville, British Columbia. As a teenager, he moved to Victoria, British Columbia, going on to lead St. Michaels University School to a BC Provincial AA Championship title in 2014. Montgomery played four years of college soccer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 2015 and 2019. Edwin Javier Cerrillo (born October 3, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. Career Cerrillo committed to playing college soccer at the University of Maryland, but opted to sign a Homegrown Player contract with Major League Soccer side FC Dallas on February 14, 2019. Generation Adidas is a joint venture between Major League Soccer and U.S. Soccer aimed at raising the level of young professional soccer talent in the United States. The program, sponsored by Adidas, offers professional-ready players in the U.S. developmental system not yet eligible for the MLS SuperDraft early entry, allowing MLS to compete with foreign professional clubs without comparable restrictions on player signing. North Carolina Tar Heels Men's Soccer
The North Carolina Tar Heels men's soccer team represents the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in men's NCAA Division I soccer competition. They compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tar Heels won the NCAA championship in 2001 and 2011. History The UNC men's varsity soccer team was founded in 1947 by Dr. Marvin Allen, the team's first coach. Before the team had only been at the club level. Dr. Allen led the team until 1977 when the current UNC women's soccer team coach Anson Dorrance took over. Dorrance spent 12 successful seasons with the men's team until 1988. John Vincent Nelson (born July 11, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. Career Youth & College John grew up in Medina, Ohio. In 2010, he joined Internationals SC, as a member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, in which he was a member of until 2017. While a graduate of Medina High School, Nelson did not play for the school's boys' soccer team.
