2019 Copa Perú
The 2019 Copa Perú, Peru Cup season (), the largest amateur tournament of Peruvian Association football, football, started in February. This edition has featured a change, with the elimination of the Regional Stage and the inclusion of participants from all the Regions of Peru in the National Stage. Under the new format, the tournament has four stages. The format used in this soccer competition was created by the Chilean Leandro A. Shara. The 2019 Peru Cup started with the District Stage () in February. The next stage was the Provincial Stage () which started in June. The tournament continued with the Departmental Stage () in July. The National Stage () starts in September. The winner of the National Stage will be promoted to the Primera División Peruana, Liga 1 and the runner-up will be promoted to the Peruvian Segunda División, Liga 2. Copa Perú
The Copa Perú is a association football, football tournament in Peru and the fourth-highest division of the Peruvian football league system. Despite its name, it is not entirely an elimination-cup competition involving all Peruvian clubs, but rather a series of league tournaments leading to an elimination tournament, with regional league clubs as participants. It guarantees its 4 teams promotion to the Peruvian Tercera División. Chimbote
Chimbote ; ) is a city in northwestern Peru. It is the largest city in the Ancash Region and the List of cities in Peru, tenth most populous in Peru. José Gálvez FBC is a Peruvian football club based in Chimbote, Ancash. The club was founded in 1951 under the name Manuel Rivera after the famous Chimbote born footballer Manuel Rivera. The club was forced to change its name because the FPF did not allow clubs to be named after living people. Then on 11 November 1963 the club decided the new name would be José Gálvez FBC. The club currently plays in the Copa Perú, the fourth tier of the Peruvian football league system. More recently the club played in the Peruvian Second Division and finished as champions in 2011. Club Sport Áncash is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Huaraz. Sport Áncash was founded on April 22, 1967. The team plays its home games at Rosas Pampa stadium.
