The 2019 Chinese Taipei Open (officially known as the Yonex Chinese Taipei Open 2019 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament which took place at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan, from 3 to 8 September 2019 and had a total purse of $500,000. Tournament The 2019 Chinese Taipei Open was the seventeenth tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and was also a part of the Chinese Taipei Open championships which had been held since 1980. is a Japanese badminton player. He graduated from the Saitama Sakae high school, and was part of the Unysis team since 2017. He won his first international title at the 2018 Yonex / K&D Graphics International tournament. Career Watanabe started his badminton career when he was four years old, entered the badminton club under the influence of his sister. Heo Kwang-hee
Heo Kwang-hee (; born 11 August 1995) is a South Korean badminton player who was educated at the Dankook University. He was selected to join the national team in 2012, and joined the Samsung Electro-Mechanics team in 2014. Heo was the bronze medalists at the 2012 World Junior Championships in the boys' singles and team event, and Asian Junior Championships in the team event. Heo later won the boys' singles and mixed team gold medals at the 2013 World Junior Championships, and the mixed team silver medal at the Asian Junior Championships. Lee Zii Jia (, born 29 March 1998) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was the men's singles gold medalist at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and won his first BWF Super 1000 title at the 2021 All England Open. Lee is the reigning men's singles Asian champion, winning the title at the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships.
