Maverick Antcliff
Maverick Antcliff (born 7 April 1993) is an Australian professional golfer currently playing on the European Tour. In 2019, he won the China Tour Order of Merit, the same year he achieved his first three professional wins. Career Antcliff hails from Beaudesert, Queensland, about an hour south of Brisbane, just like fellow golfer Jason Day. He attended Hills International College as a teenager. Antcliff accepted a golf scholarship to Augusta State University, and played golf with the Jaguars' men's golf team 2013–2016. After turning pro in 2016 Antcliff found himself near the top of the leaderboard in a number of events on the Asian Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia in 2017 and 2018, but wins proved elusive. His breakthrough came in 2019 when he claimed three wins from the first five events of the 2019 China Tour. 2020 European Tour
The 2020 European Tour was the 49th season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972 and the 12th edition of the Race to Dubai. The COVID-19 pandemic had a major impact on the season, with many tournaments being rescheduled or cancelled. All four major championships were affected; The Open Championship was cancelled, and the Masters Tournament, U.S. Open and PGA Championship were moved to dates much later in the year. After a three-month hiatus following the Qatar Masters in early March, the tour resumed with a much changed schedule in July. Two dual-ranking events in Austria were followed by six-tournament stretch in the United Kingdom and three tournaments in Spain and Portugal, with the rescheduled major events starting in late September. The 2019 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2019 season. Unofficial events The following events were sanctioned by the Challenge Tour, but did not carry official money, nor were wins official. Challenge Tour Rankings ''For full rankings, see 2019 Challenge Tour graduates.'' Francesco Laporta
Francesco Laporta (born 10 October 1990) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won two tournaments on the 2019 Challenge Tour. Amateur career Laporta started playing as a 13-year old at the San Domenico Golf in Brindisi and developed his amateur career in Italy and South Africa. After playing in a few professional tournaments in the Alps Tour as an amateur, he turned professional in 2013 on the Sunshine Tour.
