2019 BK Häcken Season
The 2019 BK Häcken season is BK Häcken's 79th season of existence, and its 19th season competing in the Allsvenskan, the top tier of football in Sweden. The club has been a fixture in the Allsvenskan each season since 2009. In addition to the 2019 Allsvenskan, BK Häcken will compete in the Svenska Cupen, and the UEFA Europa League. BK Häcken
Bollklubben Häcken, more commonly known as BK Häcken or simply Häcken (), is a Swedish professional association football, football club based in Gothenburg (Hisingen). It currently plays in Allsvenskan, the top tier of Swedish football. Formed on 2 August 1940, Häcken has played 23 seasons in Allsvenskan, debuting in the league in 1983 Allsvenskan, 1983. The club is affiliated to Gothenburg Football Association and play their home games at Bravida Arena. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are yellow and black. History The beginning The club was started by a group of 14- to 15-year-old youngsters who wanted not just to play football for fun but also to create an organisation and participate in the national league system. Christoffer Källqvist
Patrik Christoffer Källqvist (born 26 August 1983) is a former Swedish professional football goalkeeper. He was a one-club man and spent his entire career at BK Häcken. Club career During the 2018 Allsvenskan season, Källqvist announced his decision to retire from elite football at the end of the season. He underwent hip surgery in 2015, and has only played 5 Allsvenskan games for Häcken since then. In his youth, Christoffer had a couple of trials with a various number of teams in England, such as Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town. Godswill Ekpolo
Elohor Godswill Epokoli (born 14 May 1995) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Cypriot First Division club AEK Larnaca. Mainly a right back, he can also play as a central defender. Playing career Ekpolo moved with his family to Spain from Nigeria in 2002, and settled in Tarragona. He came through the youth team at FC Barcelona, and played for the reserve team and captained the under-21 team, before he was released in June 2016. Mervan Çelik (born 26 May 1990) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a winger.
