2019 BFF U-18 Football Tournament
The 2019 BFF U-18 Football Tournament (also known as Walton Group, Walton U-18 Football Tournament for sponsorship reason), It was the 3rd edition of BFF U-18 Football Tournament, a youth club football tournament in Bangladesh hosted by the Bangladesh Football Federation.The main goal of this tournament to produce future football players for Bangladesh national football team and clubs. Draw The draw ceremony were held at Bangladesh Football Federation, BFF house at Motijheel, Dhaka on 31 July 2019. The 12 teams were divided into 4 groups. BFF U-18 Football Tournament
The BFF U-18 Football Tournament was a youth club football tournament in Bangladesh which was managed, organized and controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). History The tournament was established in 2014, in order for Bangladesh Premier League (football), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) clubs to develop young players. With each team playing in the BPL during that specific season fielded their U18 players. The first three editions saw clubs split into a group of four, while the top two out of the three teams in the group advancing to the Quarter-Finals. After the first edition of the league in 2014, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) did not arrange the tournament again until 2018. Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club (Bengali language, Bengali: শেখ জামাল ধানমন্ডি ক্লাব) is a professional association football, football club based in the Dhanmondi area, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club competes in the Bangladesh Premier League (football), Bangladesh Premier League, the top-flight of football in Bangladesh. It was known as Dhanmondi Club before adding the Sheikh Jamal, founder's name after turning into a limited company. Sheikh Jamal Club is one of the most successful football clubs in Bangladesh.
