2019 Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Tournament
The 2019 ASUN Conference baseball tournament was held at Melching Field at Conrad Park, home field of the Stetson Hatters baseball team in DeLand, Florida, from May 22 through 25. The winner of the tournament, Liberty, claimed the ASUN Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Format and seeding The 2019 tournament was a double-elimination tournament in which the top six conference members participated. Seeds were determined based on conference winning percentage from the round-robin regular season. A double-elimination tournament is a type of elimination tournament competition in which a participant ceases to be eligible to win the tournament's championship upon having lost ''two'' games or matches. It stands in contrast to a single-elimination tournament, in which only ''one'' defeat results in elimination. Lipscomb Bisons Baseball
The Lipscomb Bisons baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball team of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The team competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I and is a member of the ASUN Conference. The Bisons have been to two NCAA tournaments, in 2008 and 2015. The North Florida Ospreys baseball team represents the University of North Florida in the sport of baseball. The Ospreys compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), in the ASUN Conference (A-Sun).
