2019 Asia League Season
The 2019 East Asia Super League season was the third season of the tournament organized by the Asia League Limited. The sole tournament, The Terrific 12 was held from 17–22 September 2019. Results The Terrific 12 tournament was held at the Tap Seac Multi-sports Pavilion in Macau from 17 to 22 September. The FIBA-recognized basketball tournament features three clubs from the Chinese Basketball Association of China, four from the B.League of Japan, two from the Korean Basketball League of South Korea and three from the Philippine Basketball Association of the Philippines. Asia Basketball League
The East Asia Super League (EASL) is an international basketball list of basketball leagues, league featuring clubs from Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Hong Kong, and Macau. From 2017 to 2019, four pre-season tournaments (the Super 8 and the Terrific 12) were organized by EASL, featuring clubs from selected professional basketball leagues in the region. With official backing from FIBA Asia, EASL has made a transition towards a full-fledged league. The first such season commenced in 2023 and feature eight teams. The Blackwater Bossing is a professional basketball team owned by Ever Bilena, Inc. that is playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) beginning in the 2014–2015 season. The franchise started as one of the founding teams in the PBA Developmental League. It transferred to the PBA after being accepted as an expansion team. Jalen Reynolds (born December 30, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for UNICS Kazan of the VTB United League. He played college basketball for Xavier University before playing professionally in Italy, Spain, Russia, China and Israel. College career Reynolds enrolled at Xavier University in 2012, after graduating from Brewster Academy. After being ruled ineligible, he sat out the 2012-13 season. He was suspended indefinitely by Xavier in January 2014. Statistically, his best year was in 2014-15, his sophomore season, when Reynolds averaged 9.9 points and 6.1 rebounds a contest. Jameel Marcus Warney (born January 31, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Seoul SK Knights of the Korean Basketball League (KBL). He played college basketball for the Stony Brook Seawolves, leading the team to its first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament and graduating as the school's all-time leader in several career categories. After going undrafted, Warney became the first Stony Brook player to reach the NBA when he made his debut with the Dallas Mavericks on March 11, 2018. The TNT Tropang 5G is a professional basketball team currently owned by Smart Communications, a subsidiary of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since 1990. The Zhejiang Guangsha Lions () are a Chinese professional basketball team based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, which plays in the North Division of the Chinese Basketball Association. Guangsha is the name of the club's corporate sponsor, but to prevent confusion with the older Zhejiang Golden Bulls, many Chinese websites refer to the team as the ''Guangsha Lions''.
