2018–19 Slovenian Second League
The 2018–19 Slovenian Second League season was the 28th edition of the Slovenian Second League. The season began on 4 August 2018 and ended on 26 May 2019. Competition format Each team played a total of 30 matches (15 home and 15 away). Teams played two matches against each other (1 home and 1 away). Teams The key for the 16 teams contesting the league was: *1 relegated team from the 2017–18 Slovenian PrvaLiga *13 teams ranked second to fourteenth in the 2017–18 Slovenian Second League season *2 promoted teams from the 2017–18 Slovenian Third League. Beltinci
Beltinci (; Prekmurje Slovene: ''Böltinci'', or ''Belatincz'', ) is a town in the Prekmurje region of northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Beltinci. Črnec Creek, a tributary of the Ledava, flows through the settlement. Name Beltinci was attested as ''Belethfalua'' in 1322, ''Belethafalua'' in 1381, and ''Balatincz'' in 1402. The name is originally a plural demonym derived from the Slavic personal name ''*Běletinъ''—from the nickname ''*Bělъ(jъ)'' 'white', applied to people with fair skin or hair—thus meaning 'residents of Běletinъ's village'. Bonifika Stadium
Bonifika Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Koper, Slovenia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Koper. The stadium is part of Bonifika sports complex, together with a smaller athletics stadium, indoor hall and an indoor swimming pool. The stadium was built in 1948 and got its name from the city area where it is situated. In 2010 the stadium underwent a major reconstruction and its current capacity is 4,047 seats. Koper
Koper (; ) is the List of cities and towns in Slovenia, fifth-largest city in Slovenia. Located in the Slovenian Istria, Istrian region in the southwestern part of the country, Koper is the main urban center of the Slovene coast. The 2017–18 Slovenian Third League was the 26th edition of the Slovenian Third League. The season began on 19 August 2017 and ended on 27 May 2018. Competition format and rules The 2017–18 Slovenian Third League was divided into four regional groups with a total of 50 participating clubs. The three groups (North, Centre, East) were composed of 14 clubs, while the West group consisted of 8 clubs. The 2017–18 Slovenian PrvaLiga (also known as the Prva liga Telekom Slovenije for sponsorship reasons) was the 27th edition of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its establishment in 1991.
