2018 Tromsø IL Season
The 2018 season was Tromsø's fourth season back in the Tippeligaen following their relegation at the end of the 2013 and their 31st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. Tromsø finished the season in 11th position and reached the Fourth Round of the Norwegian Cup where they were knocked out by Vålerenga . Tromsø IL
Tromsø Idrettslag is a Norwegian professional football club founded in 1920, based in the city of Tromsø. They play their home games at Alfheim Stadion. Tromsø play in the Eliteserien. Tromsø have won the Norwegian Cup twice, in 1986 and 1996, and have competed in several UEFA competitions; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Intertoto Cup and UEFA Europa League. Christian Landu Landu (born 25 January 1992) is a Norwegian footballer currently playing for Bryne FK. Club career Viking Landu Landu was born in Stavanger and started his career in local club Tasta, before he joined Viking in 2005. Lasse Nilsen (born 21 February 1995) is a Norwegian football defender who currently plays for the Norwegian First Division side Tromsø IL. He hails from Bleik and started his youth career in Høken, moving on to Andenes around his early teens. Gjermund Åsen
Gjermund Åsen (born 22 May 1991) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Lillestrøm. Club career Åsen joined Rosenborg BK from Strindheim before the 2010 season. He made his Rosenborg debut 7 March 2010 in the Norwegian Superfinalen against Aalesund, and made his league debut for Rosenborg in the first league game of the 2010 season against Molde on 14 March 2010. Åsen was on two short loan-spells at Ranheim in 2011 and 2012, but transferred to Ranheim after his second loan-spell on 1 August 2012. Simen Wangberg
Simen Søraunet Wangberg (born 6 May 1991) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Stabæk in Eliteserien. Club career He came to Rosenborg as a junior player ahead of the 2008-season, from Nidelv. Before the 2009 season he became a member of the first team. Onni Valakari
Onni Valakari (born 18 August 1999) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Cypriot First Division club Pafos and the Finnish national team. Career Valakari started to play football in the youth sector of Käpylän Pallo (KäPa) in 2007. In 2013, he moved to Seinäjoki with his family and joined local club Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK). Daniel Mikal Aas Berntsen (born 4 April 1993) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. Club career Bodø/Glimt In the summer of 2007, a then 14-year-old Berntsen was selected as Bodø/Glimt's representative to train with the best young footballers in Norway and be coached by the likes of Åge Hareide and Ole Gunnar Solskjær. Magnus Andersen (born 28 May 1986) is a Norwegian football midfielder currently playing for Alta in the Norwegian 2. divisjon, the third tier of football in Norway. Hans Norbye
Hans Julius Eriksen Norbye (born 16 January 1987) is a Norway, Norwegian association football, footballer who currently plays for Alta IF, Alta. Career Norbye was born and grew up in Karasjok. He was regarded as having talent for athletics (sport), athletics during his younger days, but joined Tromsø IL to play youth football.
