2018 Symetra Tour
The 2018 Symetra Tour was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2018 in the United States. The Symetra Tour is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in the United States and is the "official developmental tour" of the LPGA Tour. It was previously known as the Futures Tour. Ruixin Liu
Ruixin Liu (born 13 November 1998) is a Chinese professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She was Symetra Tour Player of the Year in 2019. Early life and amateur career Liu grew up in Shenzhen, about an hour from Hong Kong. She started playing golf with her family at an early age and by age nine or ten, she knew she wanted to play golf for the rest of her life. In 2011, she won the Mission Hills Jack Nicklaus Junior. When she was 13, her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where golf became the family's focus. She began training at the ANNIKA Academy, and in 2013, just one year after moving to Orlando, at age 14, she received an exemption into the Symetra Tour's Volvik Championship, where she made the cut. Isabell "Isi" Gabsa (born 7 June 1995) is a German professional golfer who currently plays on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Gabsa was member of the National Team and represented Germany at the European Girls' Team Championship in 2011 and 2012, where her team finished 4th and 6th respectively. Professional career Gabsa turned professional after she qualified for the LET in December 2012, at seventeen the youngest German player at the time to do so. She struggled on the LET but had better success in LET Access Series events, and finished runner up at the 2013 Azores Ladies Open and solo third at the 2014 HLR Golf Academy Open in Finland. The Forsyth Classic was an event on the Symetra Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. It had been a part of the Symetra Tour's schedule since 1985. It was held at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur, Illinois. Since 2006, the tournament had been the Symetra Tour's first and only major championship. Louise Ridderström
Louise Ridderström (born 24 December 1993) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Early life and amateur career Ridderström was born in Stockholm to a gymnast mother and a father ( sv:Lars-Erik) who was member of the Swedish National Hockey Team.
