2018 PSL Collegiate Grand Slam Conference
The 2018 PSL Collegiate Grand Slam Conference was the fifth conference and fourth indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The games began on November 3, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena, Pasig. The conference coincided with the 2018 All-Filipino Conference and utilized a round robin system during the preliminary round with the top four teams advancing to the next round. The losers of the semifinal round competed for the bronze medal while the winners advance to the championship round. The champion will go to a training camp in Thailand. UST Golden Tigresses
The UST Golden Tigresses are the intercollegiate women’s volleyball team of the UST Growling Tigers representing the University of Santo Tomas in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Their head coach as of April 17, 2015 is former Golden Spiker Kungfu Reyes who is also the coach of their junior girls’ volleyball program. They are one of the UAAP’s winningest teams with 16 championships, the last coming in 2010 against the De La Salle Lady Spikers. The Tigresses swept their elimination games in 1988, 1993 and 1996 and were declared automatic champions in each of those years. They also have the third most Final Four appearances with 13, behind La Salle’s 18 and the FEU Lady Tamaraws’ 15. The UP Fighting Maroons are the collegiate varsity teams of the University of the Philippines, primarily off Diliman, which play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere sports league in the country. The Fighting Maroons moniker, though, is more commonly used to refer to the men's basketball team (see Team monikers below). Ayel Estrañero
Maria Arielle Estrañero is a Filipino volleyball athlete player. She is a former player of the UP Lady Fighting Maroons in the UAAP in both indoor and beach volleyball. Career Estrañero studied her secondary education at University of St. La Salle in Bacolod. She was one of the players who represented Western Visayas in the Palarong Pambansa 2014 where she bagged the Best Attacker award. She chose to study at the University of the Philippines - Diliman for college taking up Communication Research. She plays multiple positions for the UP Lady Fighting Maroons as a converted setter, converted libero, and as an attacker. Justine Dorog (born March 13, 1998) is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She currently plays for the Quezon City Gerflor Defenders volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League. Personal life Dorog was born and raised in Cebu Province and attended high school as an athlete at Hope Christian High School in Manila together with her cousin, Isa Molde. She studied Bachelor of Sports Science at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and played for the school's volleyball team. Kathleen Faith Pepito Arado (born May 22, 1998) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member of the UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP. She was named the UAAP Season 77 Rookie of the Year alongside Ennajie Laure. She also bagged the Best Libero award in the 2016 South East Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championships in Sisaket, Thailand. Career Arado is a member of the Under-19 Philippines women's national volleyball team in 2016 which competed in the 2016 Asian Women's U19 Volleyball Championship.
