Melaka United Football Club () was a defunct Malaysian professional football club based in Malacca that competes in the Malaysia Super League. They were owned by Kenteam Sdn Bhd which is one of nitrile glove producer in Malaysia. Previously, the club's home ground since then has been Hang Tuah Stadium before moving to Hang Jebat Stadium in Paya Rumput / Krubong in 1924. Muhammad Zamir bin Selamat (born 9 June 1989) is a Malaysian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Zamir previously played for Harimau Muda, Johor Darul Ta'zim, PKNS and Perak. Club career PKNS Zamir rejoined PKNS at the end of 2016 after his contract with Perak expired. On 4 February 2017, Zamir made his first appearance for the club in a 5–3 win over Selangor in Malaysia Super League match. He has made 11 league appearances for the club before been released at the end of the season. Steven Thicot (born 14 February 1987) is a French footballer who plays as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder for Scottish League One side Clyde. Besides France, he has played in Scotland, Romania, Spain, Greece, Malaysia, the United States, and Lithuania. Mohamad Faris Shah bin Mohd Rosli (born 17 April 1995) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Malaysia Super League club Penang. Club career Early career Faris started his career with Harimau Muda C in 2013. He was also part of the squad for Malaysia U19 that competed in 2013 AFF U-19 Youth Championship. Nicholas Ryan Swirad (born 28 May 1991) is an English-born Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Malaysia Super League side Kuala Lumpur City. Club career Swirad started his senior career with FC United of Manchester, making his debut at the age of 17 having played for the Manchester FA's youth and academy programme at Manchester College. Mohd Shazlan bin Alias (born 27 December 1989) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays for Melaka United in the Malaysia Super League as a right back. Club career A graduate of Bukit Jalil Sports School, Mohd Shazlan Alias was part of the Malaysian under-18 squad that was at that time under K. Mohd Faizal bin Muhamad (born 3 March 1989) is a Malaysian football player who plays as centre-back for Malaysian club Melaka United. He is also a former member of Malaysia senior football team and Malaysia U-23 squad. In November 2010, Faizal was called up to the Malaysia national squad by coach K.
