2018 Meistriliiga
The 2018 Meistriliiga (known as A. Le Coq Premium Liiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 28th season of the Meistriliiga, the highest division of Estonian football system. The season was scheduled to begin on 25 February 2018, but was postponed due to a cold wave. On 3 March, the season began with four out of five second round matches held in indoor arena. This marked the first time Estonian league football was played indoor. The season concluded on 10 November 2018. Flora were the defending champions. Nõmme Kalju won their 2nd Meistriliiga title completing an entire season undefeated. Teams 10 teams competed in the league. Sillamäe Kalev lost their Meistriliiga license due to a failure to meet their financial obligations and were relegated to the II liiga. Youssef En-Nesyri (; pronounced ; born 1 June 1997) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe and the Morocco national team. Ats Purje (born 3 August 1985) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Tallinna Kalev. Club career Early career Purje began playing football at Tallinna Jalgpallikool, where he was coached by Aivar Tiidus. He made his senior league debut in the IV liiga with SC Real in 2001. Alyaksey Mikalayevich Kulbakow (; born 27 December 1979) is a Belarusian former football referee, who is a listed international referee since 2005. He is a FIFA-licensed and UEFA elite group referee. He is the only Belarusian official who regularly takes part in the group stages of UEFA club competitions. Kulbakov started his refereeing career very early – at the age of 16.
