The XXIX Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2018, also known as Ivan Yarygin (Yariguin) 2018 was a wrestling event held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia between 26 and 28 January 2018. It was held as the second of the ranking series of United World Wrestling,it is only men's freestyle ranking. This international tournament includes competition in both men's and women's freestyle wrestling. This Grand Prix will be held in honor of the two time Olympic Champion, Ivan Yarygin. The Yarygin Grand Prix is the first UWW ranked tournament of the year 2018. Krasnoyarsk
Krasnoyarsk is the largest types of inhabited localities in Russia, city and administrative center of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It is situated along the Yenisey, Yenisey River, and is the second-largest city in Siberia after Novosibirsk, with a population of over 1.1 million. Ismail Timurovich Musukaev (, ; born 28 January 1993) is a Russian-born Hungarian freestyle wrestler. A world champion and European champion, Musukaev represented Hungary at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France in the men's 65 kg event. Career He was the runner-up at the Russian nationals in 2015 at 57 kg. At the Russian nationals 2016 at the end of the 57 kg quarterfinal wrestling match between Lebedev and Musukaev the referees awarded the victory to Viktor Lebedev. However, after the match the Russian Championships wrestling commission considered mistakes of the referee and awarded the victory to Ismail Musukaev (4-2). Khetag Nikolayevich Tsabolov (, ; born 17 November 1991), also known as Khetik Tsabolov (), is a Russian and Serbian freestyle wrestler who competes at 74 kilograms. After competing for Russia throughout his career, Tsabolov transferred to Serbia in February 2021, and has since represented the latter. Frank Molinaro (born December 27, 1988) is an American wrestler and coach. He was the 2012 NCAA champion at 149 lbs. with an undefeated season record of 33–0, helping him become a four-time NCAA Division I All-American at Penn State. In 2016, Molinaro won the US Olympic Team Trials, earning the ability to qualify and represent the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics at 65 kg. Magomedrasul Mukhtarovich Gazimagomedov (; born 8 April 1991) is a Russian freestyle wrestler. He is two-time World Champion and a Grand Master of Sports in freestyle wrestling.
