Egmond Aan Zee
Egmond aan Zee () is a village on the North Sea coast in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Bergen, about 9 km west of Alkmaar. Egmond aan Zee was a separate municipality until 1978, when it merged with Egmond-Binnen and Egmond aan den Hoef to form the new municipality Egmond. In turn, Egmond was amalgamated into Bergen on 1 January 2001. History This best-known of the three villages of Egmond was formed in the coastal dunes. According to legend, it was founded around 977. Settlers in this area have battled the sea since the first settlements. During the All Saints' Flood of 1570, some 50 houses disappeared into the sea. And in November 1741, the sea swallowed 36 houses, the church, and its tower. Apart from being dangerous, the sea also provided the people of Egmond food and work, as most inhabitants of Egmond were fishermen. Dean Reynolds (darts Player)
Matthew Francis Dean Reynolds (born 21 July 1992) is a Welsh former professional darts player. Career Reynolds' first Development Tour title came in 2014 by defeating Max Hopp 4–2. He also won the 16th event by edging past Josh Payne 4–3. Reynolds beat Ryan de Vreede 5–4 to claim the 2015 French Open title. He also took another Development Tour event with a 4–2 victory over Mike de Decker. In 2016, Reynolds enjoyed a breakthrough year. He qualified for the 2016 BDO World Championship and lost 3–0 to Glen Durrant. At the BDO World Trophy, he defeated Dave Cameron, Martin Adams and Danny Noppert before losing 11–9 to Peter Machin in the semi-finals. Wouter Vaes
Wouter Vaes (born 9 February 1991) is a Dutch professional darts player who plays in British Darts Organisation (BDO) tournaments. Career Vaes' professional career started in the 2009 Sunparks Masters, where he finished among the Last 64. Since then he has competed in numerous tournaments and competitions, and have made it to several quarter finals and semi finals. He has made it to a single final round, in the 2016 Austria Open Vienna tournament, in which he lost against Robert Allenstein. Despite never winning a tournament in his career, Vaes qualified for the 2017 BDO World Darts Championship, where he lost 0–3 to Darryl Fitton. Martijn Kleermaker
Martijn Kleermaker (born February 19, 1991) is a Dutch professional darts player, currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation events. PDC He announced that he intended to compete at Q School 2020, speaking to RTL7 saying that the 2019 World Masters was a 'catastrophe'. Kleermaker won a PDC Tour Card for the first time at European Q School in 2020. He played on the ProTour since 2020. In his first year in PDC, he took part in 2020 UK Open, where he lost in the first round. Martin Adams
Martin Adams (born 4 June 1956) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. Tony O'Shea (born 9 May 1961) is an English professional darts player. His squat figure has resulted in the nickname "Silverback". O'Shea has reached the finals of seven British Darts Organisation (BDO) major darts tournaments, but to date has never won one. He also acts as a regular commentator for televised BDO coverage. Career Early career Hamilton started playing darts at the age of 14 with his father Jim and brother Darren. By the age of 18, Hamilton was playing county level darts for Cheshire. Wayne Warren
Wayne Warren (born 12 June 1962) is a Welsh professional darts player who plays in events of the World Darts Federation (WDF). He was the last ever BDO World Darts Champion. He is the oldest player to become world champion. Darts career BDO Warren qualified for the 2005 BDO World Darts Championship, where he was the only Welshman in the field. He lost 3–0 in the first round to third seed Mervyn King.
