2018 East–West Shrine Game
The 2018 East–West Shrine Game was the 93rd staging of the all–star college football exhibition to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children. The game was played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, on January 20, 2018, with a 3:07 p.m. EST kickoff; televised on the NFL Network. It was one of the final 2017–18 bowl games concluding the 2017 FBS football season. The game featured NCAA players (predominantly from the Football Bowl Subdivision) and a few select invitees from Canadian university football, rostered into "East" and "West" teams. Tropicana Field
Tropicana Field (nicknamed "The Trop") is a domed multipurpose stadium located in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. "The Trop" was the home of the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1998 Tampa Bay Devil Rays season, 1998 to 2024. The stadium is also used for college football, and from December 2008 to December 2017 was the home of the St. Petersburg Bowl, an annual postseason bowl game. The venue is the only nonretractable domed stadium in MLB. Richard Angulo
Richard Angulo (born August 13, 1980) is an American football coach and former tight end who is the tight ends coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Baltimore Ravens. Angulo played college football for the Western New Mexico Mustangs and was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL draft. He was also a member of the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns. The ''Montgomery Advertiser'' is a daily newspaper and news website located in Montgomery, Alabama. It was founded in 1829.
