2018 China Tour
The 2018 China Tour was the fifth season of the China Tour, the main professional golf tour in China since separating from PGA Tour China in 2017. OWGR inclusion In December 2017, it was announced that all China Tour events would receive Official World Golf Ranking points at the minimum level of 4 points for the winner of a 54-hole event and 6 points for the winner of a 72-hole event. 2018 Asian Tour
The 2018 Asian Tour was the 24th season of the modern Asian Tour (formerly the Asian PGA Tour), the main professional golf tour in Asia (outside of Japan) since it was established in 1995. Changes for 2018 In February, Habitat for Humanity announced that they had partnered with the Asian Tour to see the Order of Merit rebranded as the Habitat for Humanity Standings. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was titled as the Habitat for Humanity Standings and was based on prize money won during the season, calculated in U.S. dollars. 2019 European Tour
The 2019 European Tour was the 48th season of the European Tour, the main professional golf tour in Europe since its inaugural season in 1972. Changes for 2019 Rule changes From January 1, 2019 onwards, tournaments followed the new rules released by the USGA and The R&A which were designed to simplify the rule book and speed up the pace of play. The most noticeable changes included golfers being able to putt on the green with the flag remaining in, and drops being made from knee rather than shoulder height. Scheduling changes As announced in 2017, the PGA Championship was moved from August to May, starting in 2019. The PGA of America cited the addition of golf to the Summer Olympics, as well as cooler weather enabling a wider array of options for host courses, as reasoning for the change. Zhang Xinjun (; born 10 June 1987) is a Chinese professional golfer who currently plays on PGA Tour. He won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019 when he topped the regular season points list. In 2017, along with Dou Zecheng, he was one of the first Chinese players to gain their card on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Zhang represented China at the 2010 Asian Games. Victor Perez (born 2 September 1992) is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and PGA Tour. He won the 2019 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, as well as the 2023 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. Amateur career Perez attended the University of New Mexico from 2011 to 2015.
