2018 Blancpain GT Sports Club
The 2018 Blancpain GT Sports Club was the fourth season of the SRO Motorsports Group's Blancpain GT Sports Club, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars. The Blancpain GT Sports Club is a championship for Bronze, Titanium and Iron drivers only. The Titanium categorisation is within the Bronze category, for drivers between the age of 50 and 59. The Iron categorisation is within the Bronze category, for drivers over the age of 60. The races are contested with GT3-spec, RACB G3, GTE-spec and Trophy cars. Calendar At the annual press conference during the 2017 24 Hours of Spa on 28 July, the Stéphane Ratel Organisation announced the first draft of the 2018 calendar. Autodromo Nazionale Monza replaced Silverstone and acted as the season opener. SRO Motorsports Group (formerly the Stéphane Ratel Organisation) is an international sporting organisation best known for promoting and running a variety of racing events and series, including the Total 24 Hours of Spa, Intercontinental GT Challenge and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe. The company was founded in 1995 by Stéphane Ratel and is now considered the global leader in GT racing. SRO also organises the multi-disciplinary FIA Motorsport Games, as well as e-sports events and touring car categories. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli
The Misano World Circuit (officially known as Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli or Misano Circuit Sic 58, and before 2006 called Circuito Internazionale Santa Monica) is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico ( Province of Rimini) in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. Karim Ojjeh
Karim Ojjeh ( ar, كريم عجة; born 27 August 1965 in Geneva) is a Saudi Arabian businessman and racing driver. He is the younger brother of Mansour Ojjeh and son of Akram Ojjeh. He is a director of TAG Finance S.A. In his spare time he races in the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Racing career Between 1991 and 1994, Ojjeh attended the Jim Russell Racing Driver School. He raced in Formula Palmer Audi between 2002 and 2004. He made his Le Mans Series debut in 2004 in a Ferrari 360 Modena. In 2005, he competed full-time in the series for Paul Belmondo Racing in an LMP2 Courage- AER, winning two races. Ojjeh and the team finished second in class at the 2005 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ojjeh continued racing with the team in 2006, but for 2007, he moved to Barazi-Epsilon, winning two LMS races in their Zytek. BMW M6
The BMW M6 is a high-performance version of the 6 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand from 1983 to 2018 (with a break from 1990 to 2004). Introduced in the coupe body style, the M6 was also built in convertible and fastback sedan ('Gran Coupe') body styles for later generations. Boutsen Ginion Racing is a Belgian auto racing team currently competing in the World Touring Car Cup and TCR Benelux Touring Car Championship. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Mogyoród
Mogyoród is a small traditional village in Pest County, Hungary. The Battle of Mogyoród took place here on 14 March 1074, between Solomon, King of Hungary and his cousins Géza and Ladislaus, who were claiming rights to the throne. To commemorate the victory, László Benchmarks were installed, establishing a monastery on Klastrom mountain.
