Chris Birch (politician)
Christopher Jim Birch (August 28, 1950 – August 7, 2019) was an American politician who served as a member of the Alaska Senate for District M in 2019 and the Alaska House of Representatives for the 26th District from 2017 to 2019. Birch was a member of the Republican Party. Early life Birch was born to geologist Bettijeanne Birch and mining engineer Frank Birch in Sterling, Illinois northeast of Moline, Illinois in 1950. His family has a lengthy history in Alaska and he grew up in mining camps near Fairbanks and the Brooks Range in northern Alaska. Mia C. Costello (born January 11, 1968) is a Republican politician from Alaska. She is a member of the Alaska House of Representatives from the 15th district. She previously represented the 20th district from 2011 to 2015 and served as a member of the Alaska Senate, representing District K from 2015 to 2023. Lora Reinbold
Lora H. Reinbold (born April 30, 1964) is an American politician who was a member of the Alaska Senate. She was a member of the Alaska House from 2013 to 2019, representing District 26. In 2018, Reinbold was elected to the Alaska Senate, Alaska State Senate representing the G district. She served in the State Senate from 2019 until retiring in 2023. Michael Karl "Dozer" Shower (born February 14, 1968) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Alaska State Senate since February 22, 2018. Shower was appointed by Governor Bill Walker to fill a vacancy created by Mike Dunleavy, who resigned in order to focus on his run for governor. He represents Valdez and several rural communities in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, including Willow, Houston, Big Lake, and Sutton. Shower became a resident of Alaska in 1993.
