2017–18 Segona Divisió
The 2017–18 Segona Divisió, also known as the Lliga Biosphere, was the 19th season of second-tier football in Andorra. This season began on 23 September 2017 and ended on 13 May 2018. Inter Club d'Escaldes won the league in the previous season and were promoted along with second-placed Penya Encarnada to the 2017–18 Primera Divisió. Format Ten clubs competed for the league title. The clubs played each other twice for a total of 18 matches for each club. The three "B" teams could not be promoted. Five clubs then advanced to a play-off to determine which club would be promoted. Segona Divisió
The Segona Divisió (Second Division), or Lliga UNIDA for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest level of men's football in Andorra. Former FC Santa Coloma reserve team were renamed UE Santa Coloma for 2007–08 (therefore eligible for promotion) and finally gained access to the Primera Divisió after finishing top place. Penya Encarnada d'Andorra are the current holders, having won the 2021–22 title and earning promotion to the Primera Divisió. CE Carroi
Club Esportiu Carroi is an Andorran association football, football club based in the capital city of Andorra la Vella. The club currently plays in Segona Divisió. History Founded in 2014 as a football academy CE Carroi has been a successful club at the national youth level also taking part in internationally renowned youth competitions in Europe, such as the Mediterranean International Cup or the Andorra International Cup. Although, the club is known by his football academy and school, in July 2015 CE Carroi created a senior team to compete at the highest levels in the country thus being admitted in Segona Divisió. 2018 Copa Constitució
The 2018 Copa Constitució was the 26th version of the national football knockout tournament involving clubs from Andorra. The cup began on 21 January 2018 and ended on 20 May 2018 with the final. The winners of the cup earned a place in the 2018–19 Europa League and would have joined the competition in the preliminary round. UE Santa Coloma were the defending champions having won the cup in the previous season by defeating FC Santa Coloma in the final by a score of 1–0. 2018–19 Primera Divisió
The 2018–19 Primera Divisió, also known as Lliga Multisegur Assegurances, was the 24th season of top-tier football in Andorra. The winner of the league this season earned a place in the preliminary round of the 2019–20 Champions League, and the second-placed club earned a place in the preliminary round of the 2019–20 Europa League. Unió Esportiva Santa Coloma, also known as UE Santa Coloma, is a football club from Andorra based in the village of Santa Coloma, Andorra la Vella. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History UE Santa Coloma was founded on 23 September 1986 in the village of Santa Coloma. In 1996 the club established a football academy to give a qualitative leap in the field of sports in the country. During few seasons the club acted as farm team for many Andorran teams including FC Santa Coloma. FC Rànger's
FC Rànger's is an Andorran football club based in Andorra la Vella. The team currently plays in Segona Divisió. History The club was founded in 1981, but they only started playing in Andorran leagues in 1999. FC Rànger's aren't associated with Glasgow Rangers. After two years in the Andorran Second Division, they played for the first time in the Campionat de Lliga in the 2001–02 season. After the promotion, FC Rànger's started a growing career, and after finishing second in 2005, they won the league title the two subsequent years, 2006 and 2007. FC Rànger's made their first time appearance in European competitions, playing the UEFA Intertoto Cup in the summer of 2005, being eliminated by Sturm Graz by 6–1 in aggregate. FC Encamp is an Andorran football club based in Encamp. Founded in 1950, it is the oldest football club of the Andorran First Division. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History FC Encamp was founded in 1950 being the dean of the Andorran premier league and the second football club created in the pyrenean country of Andorra after FC Andorra (founded in 1942). Atlètic Club D'Escaldes
Atlètic Club d'Escaldes, also commonly known as Atlètic d'Escaldes, is an Andorran football club based in Escaldes-Engordany, currently playing in Primera Divisió. History Atlètic Club d'Escaldes was founded on 20 May 2002 in Escaldes-Engordany joining Segona Divisió the same year. At the end of 2003–04 season the club was promoted to Primera Divisió. FC Ordino
Futbol Club Ordino is an Andorran football club based in Ordino. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History Founded in 2010 as a football academy, FC Ordino currently plays the Primera Divisió, after it was admitted by the clubs of the league in 2012.
