2017–18 Ranji Trophy Group A
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 28 teams divided into four groups, each containing seven teams. The top two teams from Group A progressed to the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy#Quarter-finals, quarterfinals of the competition. Both of Hyderabad cricket team, Hyderabad's first two matches were abandoned due to rain. Following the conclusion of the sixth round of fixtures, both Karnataka cricket team, Karnataka and Delhi cricket team, Delhi had progressed to the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy#Knockout stage, knockout stage of the competition. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the principal national governing body of the sport of cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at the Cricket Centre in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. BCCI is the wealthiest governing body of cricket in the world. It has a revenue of more than 5,300 crore.
