2017–18 BDFA Super Division
The 2017–18 BDFA Super Division was the fifteenth season of the BDFA Super Division which is the third tier of the Indian association football system and the top tier of the Karnataka football system. The season started on 10 November 2017. Madras Engineering Group (MEG) were the defending champions. Bangalore Independents and Jawahar Union were promoted from 'A' Division, whereas a new team FC Deccan was a direct entry team. AGORC and DYES teams were relegated to 'A' Division. Bengaluru FC fielded their newly launched reserve team, Bengaluru FC 'B'. BDFA Super Division
The Bangalore Football League is organised by the Bangalore District Football Association (BDFA), which is affiliated to the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) as a ladder-based state football competition involving a total of four divisions and over 130 teams in the Indian state of Karnataka. BDFA Super Division is the top-division, started in 2001. The winner is awarded George Hoover trophy. Prior to 2001, the BDFA A Division was the top tier, which currently act as 2nd tier of the state leagues ladder. 2016–17 BDFA Super Division
The 2016–17 BDFA Super Division was the fourteenth season of the BDFA Super Division which is the third tier of the Indian association football system and the top tier of the Karnataka football system. The season started on 23 January 2017 and ended on 19 March. Ozone FC were the defending champions. AGORC were promoted to Super Division after winning 'A' Division in 2015–16. Madras Engineer Group (MEG) won the league securing 22 points in the league. MEG also won George Hoover cup defeating the runner-up Students Union 2–0. Bengaluru FC Reserves and Academy, also known as Bengaluru FC B, is Bengaluru FC's most senior youth team, and also acting as a reserve team.
