The 2017 season is Tromsø's third season back in the Tippeligaen following their relegation in 2013, their 30th season in the top flight of Norwegian football and their second season with Bård Flovik as their manager. Tromsø IL
Tromsø Idrettslag is a Norwegian professional football club founded in 1920, based in the city of Tromsø. They play their home games at Alfheim Stadion. Tromsø play in the Eliteserien. Tromsø have won the Norwegian Cup twice, in 1986 and 1996, and have competed in several UEFA competitions; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Intertoto Cup and UEFA Europa League. The Norwegian Cup trophies make Tromsø the northernmost club in the world to have won a nationwide title. History 1920–39: The pre-war years The club was founded on 15 September 1920, and given the name Tromsø Turnforenings Fotballag (Tromsø Gymnastics Association's Football Team), or Turn for short. Christian Landu Landu (born 25 January 1992) is a Norwegian footballer currently playing for Bryne FK. Club career Viking Landu Landu was born in Stavanger and started his career in local club Tasta, before he joined Viking in 2005. He trained with the Viking first-team for the first time in 2006, and later, while still a youth player, began training with the first team every day. Egil Østenstad described him as a talented player. Simen Wangberg
Simen Søraunet Wangberg (born 6 May 1991) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Stabæk in Eliteserien. Club career He came to Rosenborg as a junior player ahead of the 2008-season, from Nidelv. Before the 2009 season he became a member of the first team. He made his Rosenborg debut in a cup tie against Gjøvik in the spring 2009. On 7 August 2011, he scored Rosenborg's first goal with his hand in the 3–1 win against Molde. After playing 24 matches and scoring two goals for Rosenborg in Tippeligaen, he moved to Brann in August 2012. Wangberg was brought to Brann as a replacement for Lars Grorud, who had transferred to Fredrikstad. Elhadji Mour Samb (born 8 January 1994) is a Senegalese professional footballer. Early life Samb was born in Saly, Senegal and developed with local club Diambars. Club career He began his senior career with Diambars. In 2012, he joined French club Lille, signing a three-year trainee contract after a successful trial. Magnus Andersen (footballer)
Magnus Andersen (born 28 May 1986) is a Norwegian football midfielder currently playing for Alta in the Norwegian 2. divisjon, the third tier of football in Norway. Career Anderson started his career with Øksfjord IL. He represented Norway on U17 and U18 level. He went on to Alta IF, before transferring to Tromsø IL in the 2010/11 winter transfer window. Hans Norbye
Hans Julius Eriksen Norbye (born 16 January 1987) is a Norway, Norwegian association football, footballer who currently plays for Alta IF, Alta. Career Norbye was born and grew up in Karasjok. He was regarded as having talent for athletics (sport), athletics during his younger days, but joined Tromsø IL to play youth football. He represented Norway internationally on youth level at the time. In 2006, he spent time on loan (football), loan in Alta IF. After the 2006 season, he signed his first professional contract with Tromsø IL. He got one game in the Norwegian Premier League in 2007 Norwegian Premier League, 2007. Filip Lončarić
Filip Lončarić (born 17 September 1986) is a Croatian retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Lončarić joined GNK Dinamo Zagreb in 1994, aged just eight and made his breakthrough to the first-team squad for the 2005–06 season. He had a brief loan-spell at Dinamo Zagreb's feeder team NK Lokomotiva, but made no competitive appearances. With Dinamo, Lončarić won seven Prva HNL titles, five Croatian Cup titles and two Croatian Super Cups.
