2017 Speedway Grand Prix Of Poland II
The 2017 MIB Nordic Gorzów FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the eighth race of the 2017 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on August 26 at the Edward Jancarz Stadium in Gorzów, Poland. Riders Second reserve Martin Smolinski replaced Greg Hancock, fourth reserve Václav Milík Jr. replaced Nicki Pedersen and fifth reserve Michael Jepsen Jensen replaced Niels-Kristian Iversen. The Speedway Grand Prix Commission also nominated Krzysztof Kasprzak as the wild card, and Kacper Woryna and Oskar Polis both as Track Reserves. Results The Grand Prix was won by Great Britain's Tai Woffinden, who beat Patryk Dudek, Jason Doyle and Bartosz Zmarzlik in the final. As a result of finishing third, Doyle moved back to the top of the overall standings. Previous series leader Maciej Janowski failed to make the semi-finals. Gorzów Wielkopolski

Bartosz Zmarzlik
Bartosz Zmarzlik (Polish: ; born 12 April 1995) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider, a five-time World Champion (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024), three-time World Team Champion (2016, 2017, 2023), World Junior Champion (2015) and European Junior Champion (2012). He is the third Polish rider in history, after Jerzy Szczakiel and Tomasz Gollob, to win an individual World Championship title. He was awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta, V class in 2019 and won the Polish Sports Personality of the Year title in 2020 becoming the second speedway rider to accomplish this feat. Peter Kildemand
Peter Kildemand (born 1 September 1989) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark and was a member of the Danish national team. He is a two-time Speedway Grand Prix winner. Career Kildemand started riding in Britain for Workington Comets in 2010 and 2011, before signing for Coventry Bees mid-way through the 2011 season. He was a member of the Swindon Robins 2012 Elite League Championship winning team and was named "Rider of the Year" for the club at the end of the season. Kildemand was also part of the Fjelsted team that won the 2017 Danish Speedway League. He was captain of Västervik Speedway team in 2018. In 2022, he signed for King's Lynn Stars but was unable to race for them after sustaining a pre season injury. Niels Kristian Iversen
Niels Kristian Trochmann Iversen (, born 20 June 1982 in Esbjerg, Denmark) is an international motorcycle speedway rider. He is a seven times national champion of Denmark and was part of the Danish teams that won the Speedway World Cup in 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2014. Early life Niels-Kristian Trochmann was born 20 June 1982 in Esbjerg, Denmark to Ann Marie and Flemming Iversen. Growing up with older brother Soren, Iversen decided he want to be a speedway rider. His local town Esbjerg had a track where Iversen began to learn his desired trade. Quickly moving up the ranks in Denmark, his first title came in 1994 at the 50cc Danish Individual Championship. Chris Holder
Christopher Robert Holder (born 24 September 1987 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian speedway rider, who was the 2012 World Speedway Champion. He is also five times Australian champion (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014. Career Holder won the Australian Under-21 Championship in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, in addition to finishing runner-up in the Under-21 World Championship in 2007 and 2008. Antonio Lindbäck
Antonio Lindbäck (born 5 May 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden, who competed in the Speedway World Championship and was a member of the Swedish team who won the Speedway World Cup in 2004 and 2015. He earned 17 caps for the Sweden national speedway team. Career Lindbäck made his international debut in 2004 with firstly a wild card ride in the Speedway Grand Prix series but he made a bigger impression in the Speedway World Cup riding for the Swedish team. Martin Vaculík
Martin Vaculík (born 5 April 1990) is a Slovak motorcycle speedway rider. Career On the 6 May 2008, Vaculík gained a Polish speedway licence (''Licencja "Ż"'') at Toruń. and from 4 June 2008 he has taken part in the Polish Championships as a Polish domestic rider. In 2012, Vaculik won his first ever Grand Prix as part of the 2012 World Championship, he won the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix of Poland in Gorzów. Jan Fredrik Tobias (Freddie) Lindgren (born 15 September 1985) is a Swedish motorcycle speedway rider. He has won the silver medal and the bronze medal twice at the Speedway World Championship, in addition to the world team championship in 2015. Career Born in Örebro, Sweden. Lindgren's father Tommy Lindgren (speedway rider), Tommy Lindgren was a speedway rider before him, and his younger brother Ludvig Lindgren, Ludvig also rides. Emil Damirovich Sayfutdinov (; born 26 October 1989) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Russia. He is a member of the Russia national speedway team. He is a three times World team champion, twice World Junior champion and a two-time winner of the European Championships in 2014 and 2015.
