2017 Royal Challengers Bangalore Season
Royal Challengers Bangalore is a franchise cricket team based in Bangalore, India, which plays in the Indian Premier League. They are one of the eight teams which are taking part in the 2017 Indian Premier League. They are captained by Virat Kohli and coached by Daniel Vettori. This was one of the most difficult seasons for RCB, as when it started their key players were injured and missed initial matches. Shane Watson took the responsibility of captaining RCB. Daniel Luca Vettori (born 27 January 1979) is a New Zealand cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the New Zealand national cricket team. He was the 200th player to win their Test cricket cap for New Zealand and an inductee in the New Zealand Cricket Hall of Fame. Mandeep Singh (born 18 December 1991) is an Indian cricketer. He plays for Punjab cricket team (India), Punjab in the top-flight of Indian cricket. Ahead of India's 2023-24 domestic season, he moved to Tripura cricket team, Tripura. A right-hand batsman who occasionally bowls fast bowling, right arm medium pace, Mandeep has also played for India Blue, and North Zone cricket team, North Zone and for teams in the Indian Premier League. Leg Break
Leg spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called a leg spinner. Leg spinners bowl with their right-arm and a wrist spin action. The leg spinner's normal delivery is called a leg break, which spins from right to left (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batter, the ball breaks towards them from the leg side, hence the name 'leg break'.
